where serious professionals bring challenges that logic alone can’t solve

You’ve spent years training your critical brain to do the right thing and find the right answers. It’s probably exhausted — and the chances are you're facing into a challenge that logic alone can’t solve.

That's where your creativity comes in.

Creativity is the act of bringing things into being — something we’re all doing, all the time

It’s how we shape the world around us, and it requires both critical thinking and imagination.

My goal as a creativity coach is to help your critical brain join forces with your imagination.

Coaching itself is a creative process. We lower the stakes and play with ideas. We test and refine your thinking. And start experimenting with action that will move you forward.

Whatever you’re bringing into being, I’m here to help.

  • "I initially started seeing Kate because I was overwhelmed with the changes in my life and felt like an imposter in my work. Coaching has helped me to zoom in on what is important to me, identifying and exploring what my body is telling me and building trust and belief in who and how I am. There is no promise of an answer but a promise of safe space to explore what is going on."

    — Tammy, Portfolio Manager

  • "Kate is a supremely effective coach and I have always felt safe and cared for during our sessions. She helped reorient my thinking and apply a curiosity lens to work challenges."

    — Jay, Non-Profit Leader

  • “I benefited from being encouraged to think more broadly about my development, including how creativity, mindfulness and reflection can improve my effectiveness both professionally and personally."

    —Ash, Principal Advisor

  • "Kate helped me to slow down some of my automatic thinking around creativity and find where the blocks were. She allowed me to see a really deep structural pattern. I've been thinking differently about open ended creative practice as a pathway towards wellbeing and towards powerful creative output, and it's already integrating into my life in ways that are changing more than just my creative practice, but allowing me to see all of what I do in a more playful, creative way."

with someone who’s been there too

Hi, I’m Kate.

I spent years as a lawyer and leader feeling wholly uncreative — until I picked up a paintbrush aged 30.

Not only did I start making art, but reconnecting with my creativity quickly became the best CPD I was doing in my law practice.

And ever since, I've been fascinated by our creative brains and how we can reeducate ourselves back into creativity.

I am committed to professional supervision and ongoing learning and development in my coaching practice.  I’m also a member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council and follow the Global Code of Ethics.
